Meet Lucy Shalley
Lucy graduated from Griffith University in 2008 with an Accounting Degree. Her quest for further education saw her completed a Master of Tax from University of New South Wales in 2015. Lucy’s expertise lies in tax consulting, international tax advice and corporate tax consolidation. Lucy loves a complex tax challenge, the trickier the situation the better. She has worked in various industries including property development, professional services agriculture, and manufacturing.
Lucy’s nickname plays on her love of high intensity interval training. She loves training as much as tax and is very committed to not just her own health and wellbeing but those of her fellow team members.

1. What do you love about working at Consolid8?
Working with people who are genuine and sincere. Everyone’s voice matters.
2. Tell us about your ‘real world’ experience
I have the ability to translate the legislation and apply it to ‘real world’ client cases. Also work closely with our clients to help them grow their business’.
3. What do you do for fun?
I enjoy cooking with healthy ingredients and doing yoga, pilates and hiking. Another hobby is buying too much active wear! (It’s actually a good thing because I have to do plenty of work-outs just so I can wear it all!).
4. What is your secret talent?
I am flexible, and can do the splits
5. If you weren’t an awesome accountant, what would you be?
A volunteer in a charity or a blogger writing about travel and work-out routines
6. What is your office claim to fame?
Definitely my rigid gym routine!

Master the hand stand
8. If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?
Somewhere in Europe
